Some of you know my dad had surgery today to remove a melanoma. He’s doing well but the lingering effects of the anesthesia and the nausea medicine they gave him have left him very groggy. My sister asked if he was in there. His reply? “Way down deep, I am.”
Those words really struck a chord with me. I am so thankful for the love and support of our family, church family, and friends. You all have touched us way down deep.
The calls, texts and most of all prayers have been soooo important. They touch us way down deep.
Our precious pastor spent hours with us today, serving alternately as spiritual leader, mind-occupier and bag-watcher to help us through. That’s caring for people way down deep.
We appreciate you all way down deep.
