This afternoon, two heavy rain showers rolled through campus. I saw them brewing outside my office window and watched as the trees danced about and the rains fell. Hard. Fast.
Neither shower lasted terribly long, but water was streaming down the Hill and standing in Shorter Avenue as I made my way to meet Larry for dinner.
More showers may be on the way, but the air is fresher, cooler, a bit easier to breathe. Outside the restaurant window I see raindrops glistening in the sun and the green leaves are shining brightly in the light.
Clean. Shining. Sparkling.
