Blossoms #366Days Day 204

My mom took me out this evening to show me their tomato plants, nearly as high as our heads and covered with green fruit just waiting to get ripe.

On the way to the tomato patch, we passed two of her hydrangae plants, loaded with blooms. One has nearly overtaken the boxwood next to it, its full blooms hanging all around the poor shrub that’s nearly as old as I am.

Everywhere I look in their yard is lush with beauty, from the day lilies to more hydrangae to the petunias. All in full bloom. We had a steady rain earlier today which had everything freshly watered

I brought home a beautiful deep blue hydrangae bloom and one banana pepper. It won’t be much longer before we will be enjoying fresh tomatoes. I’ve already enjoyed the evening stroll through the lushness.
