Larry and I had a great trip to Savannah during our vacation. We strolled through squares, read historical markers, and wandered through a graveyard.
After returning home, I wanted to re-read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil to experience it with the sights and sounds and smells of Savannah fresh on my mind.
My memory conjured up images of Bull Street and Oglethorpe Avenue and the steep hill down to River Street right along with the author’s descriptions.
It was a good read while I was in a Savannah state of mind. Any other Savannah classics I should read? I’m not quite ready to let go of the trip yet.
