Get Out and Move! #366Days Day 237

So, my Friday’s off are dwindling for this year. After today, there are only two more. On the one hand, that’s great because it means the students will return to campus soon. Of course, time off is always nice.

At any rate, today dawned cloudy and would have been a perfect day to sleep late and enjoy those DVR-Ed Law and Order reruns I like so much. Instead, I had a full day on the horizon.

Over breakfast, my dear friend Dana and I concocted a plan to get us both motivated. She committed to a writing plan, and I to an exercise plan. Since hugging her bye and running to my next appointment, I’ve been on the go. Meeting to lunch to meeting to dinner to visit with the parents. It’s been a busy day.

But that commitment we sealed with a handshake over breakfast is on my mind. Already I’ve practice my dad’s physical therapy exercises and tried a yoga pose or three. When I get home, I have an exercise plan in mind that hopefully will help me build strength and flexibility and log my 30 minutes for today.

I’m already looking forward to it.

  1. I organized my writing space and downloaded Scrivener. Tomorrow morning I’ll go through the tutorials and do my first 30 minutes of writing. Excited to have a plan and an accountability partner! Let’s do this!

    1. That’s awesome!!! I love Scrivener and can’t wait to read your writing. I did (or should I say attempted) 35 minutes of yoga, plus a few arm and core exercises. My balance and flexibility sure do need some work, but I started. And the way to improve is to practice. At least that’s what I told myself when I nearly fell over. Lol. I’m excited, too, and glad we’re in this together.
