Today, our church said goodbye to a wonderful Christian man. His memorial service was a celebration of a life well-lived for Christ.
His death was the latest of three in the past week that have touched folks near and dear to our hearts. In times like these, we always want to do things to make a difference for the families and loved ones. It’s hard to know what to do.
Our church has a bereavement committee that fixes food for the families. I’ve never been able to do more than drop off my assigned food or, more often than not, have my mom take it by.
Today Larry and I got to help serve and clean up after the meal. It was a good feeling to serve alongside our fellow church members and actually have some small thing that we could do to help and to see the wonderful ministry of our ladies.
