This morning I needed a blanket, and it reminded me of when I was a little girl. We always slept under quilts in the cool weather. I remember the feel of them on a cold winter’s night, their warmth and the way the weight of them held me down, making it hard to even roll over and move.
It felt so snuggly and safe and warm.
Larry and I have modern blankets and central heat that keeps the house a steady temperature, but I am not sure the sleeping is quite as good.
