I Did It! I Was Brave. #366Days Day 26

December 31, 2015 8 Comments

I did it. I did it. I wrote yesterday in my Pink Typewriter Post that I wanted to do something every day to conquer my fear when it comes to my writing. I have now officially completed my registration form for the writers workshop on how to get published. I didn’t let my nerves talk […]

Belief is the Opposite of Fear #366Days Day 25

December 30, 2015 2 Comments

In my Pink Typewriter Post for today, I wrote about getting rid of fear and shared some strategies to overcome the fear that holds us back from achieving what we want in life. I wrote that “belief is the opposite of fear,” and that’s true. I also believe it matters what — or rather Who […]

The Between Time #366Days Day 24

December 29, 2015 Leave a comment

This week always seems a bit weird to me. In my job, I am very blessed to have the last two weeks of the year off. Regularly scheduled activities like choir practices and Rotary are on hiatus. Celebrations are done. That means that I literally have nothing I have to do this week. After the […]

I Sing of Sore Fingers #366Days Day 22

December 27, 2015 2 Comments

Trying something new is hard. Few of us dance perfectly or sing perfectly or…ahem…play guitar perfectly the first time out of the gate. No one can win an Olympic race without having trained diligently. Even those gifted with natural talent need to work to hone that ability. I hear you thinking: “Sure, Dawn, but why are […]

This one’s just right #366Days Day 21

December 26, 2015 10 Comments

(First of all, wow! I can’t believe it is day 21 of my #366Days challenge. Three whole weeks gone! Time really does fly. Now, on to our regularly scheduled post…) Larry took me to Ireland in May of 2014 as part of our celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary. While we were there, our […]

My #366Days Writing Challenge

In 2015-2016, I completed a personal journey to blog every day for 366 days (thanks Leap Year!). That journey helped me realize more fully how God wants to use my writing talents for His glory. I'm still learning, but am excited to offer my words to be used by Him.

Dawn is…

a Christ-follower, who is lucky enough to use my talents as a writer. I’m a full-time PR professional with more than 23 years’ experience who does freelance writing, editing, graphic design, and photography, too!
