Mmmm, Donuts #366Days Day 67

February 10, 2016 Leave a comment

Yesterday, my social media feeds were flooded with images announcing the upcoming grand opening of a donut shop in the town where I work. The first 100 people in line, the feeds shouted at me, will receive FREE DONUTS for a year. It’s enough to make your heart skip a beat. But as others were making […]

Three hundred to go #366Days Day 66

February 9, 2016 Leave a comment

Someone shared a quote recently that said “What you do every day matters more than what you do every once in a while.” I like that reminder. And thanks to my #366Days challenge, I am proud of the consistency I have been able to build over the past 66 days. I’ve proven to myself that […]

Progress! #366Days Day 64

February 7, 2016 2 Comments

I don’t have a great post for today, but I do have a rewritten opening to my book. I think that meets my writing challenge requirement for the day! My brain is too tired to do more so I’m going to watch the Super Bowl with my Larry. 🙂

It’s Day 60! #366Days Day 60

February 3, 2016 Leave a comment

Some studies have shown that it takes 21 days to set a new habit. Others claim it may take a bit longer. I can tell you that 60 days is long enough to set an addiction — at least it did for me related to writing.  The day before yesterday, I wrote my post very […]

Isn’t there someone else? #366Days Day 58

February 1, 2016 Leave a comment

“Pardon your servant, Lord. Please send someone else.” Exodus 4:13 Moses had a dramatic call, drawn to meet with God by a burning bush. There, on that holy ground, he found out that he also had a dramatic job. God told him to go to Pharoah and demand the release of the Israelites.  I don’t […]

My #366Days Writing Challenge

In 2015-2016, I completed a personal journey to blog every day for 366 days (thanks Leap Year!). That journey helped me realize more fully how God wants to use my writing talents for His glory. I'm still learning, but am excited to offer my words to be used by Him.

Dawn is…

a Christ-follower, who is lucky enough to use my talents as a writer. I’m a full-time PR professional with more than 23 years’ experience who does freelance writing, editing, graphic design, and photography, too!
